Day 11 to Kanchanaburi - Completed in 10 hours..

Just arrived (4.45pm) at the Dheva Manyra Resort after another gruelling day..

170km of dual carriage way, :(((
then a lovely lunch break at the golf club, where David was interviewed by a Thai film crew. This occurred just as we were about to leave so eyes peeled for the 5 minute clip on Thai TV..
It nearly cost us lots of penalty points today as i had just clocked out of the timr control expecting to leap on The Itala and zoom off but oh no David was getting his nose powdered and hair adjusted by 'wardrobe & makeup' ready for 'action take 1' lol so it would have been just too rude to just disappear in a cloud of oil...

We eventually got away and enjoyed an exhilarating test through the shrubbery then 80km later onto a Regularity where we / i missed a right turn boo hoo but luckily spotted the error 500m after the event and quickly did a u e and ended up back on track and put a smile back on my to my chauffeurs little chopz.. :))

Then another long but very picturesque trek back to the Hotel through pineapple paradise and other delighful crops..
I had always assumed that a pineapple fell from the tree just like a coconut.
But in fact we find out today that it grows on the ground and is a member of the bromeliad family if you please...

You learn something new everyday. :))

A boot full of cocunuts on their way to market..

Wrong turn into a Buddha.. And a mighty creature was he lol
We saw a few orange robbed, bare footed monks along the road today..
No pics as yet..

Lunch at the golf course and an excellent welcome we had.. This English couple who ran the club had vacated Blighty over 30 years ago and said they hardly ever returned.

Film Crew getting David ready for his slot on Thai TV
